In New York, AEGA-endorsed chaplains serve across every federally recognized chaplaincy track and the state corrections system. The New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (NYDOCCS) operates more than 40 state correctional facilities including Sing Sing, Attica, Clinton, Green Haven, Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for Women, and Fishkill, with chaplain staffing separate from federal Bureau of Prisons facilities. An AEGA New York Chaplain Endorsement is the ecclesiastical document AEGA Ministries International issues to candidates entering any chaplaincy track inside New York.
