Ricky Martin, D.D.

Bishop Ricky Martin brings a powerhouse of administrative expertise and visionary leadership to our Board. Born and raised in South Alabama, Bishop Ricky understands the value of hard work—a principle he demonstrated while managing a successful business before transitioning his focus to full-time ministry. Currently serving as our National Area Coordinator Director, Bishop Ricky has done a wonderful job of streamlining operations and fostering growth. He possesses a unique gift for team building, utilizing his corporate background to structure ministries that are both efficient and spiritually vibrant.

Bishop Ricky has remained active in every aspect of the church since accepting his call at age 18. He currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Northside Assembly in Dothan and is a presiding Bishop for the AEGA Fellowship. He holds an honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Omega Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Melissa Mills Martin, are the proud parents of four children and 12 grandchildren. Bishop Ricky firmly believes that “everybody needs love, and everybody is valuable to God.”
