Elizabeth Foy, D.D.
Dr. Elizabeth Foy is an ordained minister with AEGA Ministries International and holds a Doctorate of Divinity degree. Her husband, Reverend Ray Foy, is also an AEGA-ordained minister and together they minister through their ministry called “Highway & Hedges.”
Dr. Foy has had the unusual honor of being the only female chaplain of motorcycle clubs in the southeast United States in recent years. She is one of the founders of Kairos Outside of Louisiana, which ministers to the loved ones of incarcerated people. Those who know her know that incarcerated boys have become her heart. Along with her husband, she ministers in prisons and at biker rallies, in addition to speaking at women’s conferences. Her unique “sweet anointing” comes across clearly as she ministers and keeps congregations fixed on her every word.
After leading a career as an insurance agent, Dr. Foy joined the AEGA staff where she works in the records department and serves on the credential committee. With her knowledge and experience, she helps ministries and churches acquire the proper insurance. She is the International Director of the AEGA Women for Christ Department which now has chapters in the U.S. and around the world.
Dr. Foy and her husband have two sons and a beautiful granddaughter, Brooke, who cannot wait to grow up and minister with her grandmother.
